So,
A real meaningful conversation goes like this: (Again, listen to the vid)

a. The Agenda:

Specific Agenda: Clear the time with people, so both parties know how long the meeting will last.
General agenda: Both parties know exactly what the purpose of the meeting is.

The expectations are clear.

If the agenda is to have a few beers, then they want to have a few beers, and will they feel tricked and lied to if they get bombarded with a presentation right there at the bar! Make sure they know the Agenda!

b. Positioning.

If you are too close, (like family or friends), then you are not very “positioned” with them. The closer we are, the less we listen to each other. Friends and family never really listen to each other like they should.

This is why it is so important to edify and “tee up” your up-line, positioning and building them UP.
When you’ve positioned them, there will be respect.

Their words will have more impact, and your prospect will actually be absorbing what they are saying. With correct positioning, they will also have great posture, which is key.

c. The Fact, Feel, Find.
Again, people don’t care what you know, until they know that you care.

If they feel in any way that you’re not really interested in them, and you just have your agenda to “sell them something”, then they will run away, every time.

How can we help people if we haven’t even probed to see how we can be of value to them?

Dig deep. Don’t pounce at the first thing you hear. Find 5 o 6 things that they really want in their life. What’s important to them? What moves them to go back and forth to work. What would they die for? What is life all about for them?

Then you can invite them based on that!

d. The Invite:
There no presentation here. Only the invite to take a look at a solution to help them achieve the results that are important to them.

When they actually show up for themselves to learn more about your solution, they know what the agenda is, if you haven’t messed it up and given the presentation before it’s time!

e. Summary:
After they say “YES, I’d love to sit down and look at a solution”, you’ll give a summary of the 3 steps that are going to happen next. (1), “I’m going to text and confirm with you. Then (2), I’ll send you a link to watch beforehand, and (3), we’ll meet online or chat on the phone with a partner.

f. An Open:
Instead of a “close”, you can open the door to the next exposure. Setting an appointment for the next exposure, before you leave any meeting, will surely lead to the next steps.

Remember: The fortune is in the follow up, so do it right!

When in momentum, Direct Sales companies have great opportunity, and can grow extremely fast with people who have never had a business before.
