Effective Sponsoring, Without Wasting Time On “Tire Kicking Trickery”!

I was excited, grinding hard on my business, but it always felt like nobody else in my team cared as much about their business as I did…

It was hard for me to find the “right people”, and even harder to keep them “motivated”.

It felt like I had to convince and sell everyone on why they need to build a network marketing business.

Then, after I DID drag them in, I had to keep dragging them over the goal line, kicking and screaming every step of the way!

So I made this video for the people who are like me, who LOVE to try to help and motivate people.

Now, this might be hard to hear, but if you pay very close attention to this post and video, you are going to save yourself tons of time and money from here on out.

For most people, this takes years of experience to recognize, (and you may end up quitting before you get the traction in their business), so I’m going to get your through this learning curve faster, RIGHT NOW.

The 4 Levels Of Motivation You Can’t “Control”

I remember back in the day, when I would try to explain this to my friends and family, they just didn’t “get it”.

It would make me so freaking frustrated that it created a strain on my relationships!

I was blaming everything else except myself for where my business was, (instead of investing in some coaching to see if it was something I was doing wrong), so I struggled for a few years too long… unnecessarily. 

I hadn’t stopped to realize that you can’t try to “control” people and their habits and decisions.

So what CAN you control? Let’s talk about it… 

Ok so, there are 4 types of people in this world, and you do not have an ounce of control over them OR their daily decisions!

What you DO have control over, is YOURSELF, and your ability/willingness to LEARN how to recognize their habits and patterns, so you can control 100% of YOUR SELF and the future of your own business!

You’re not only going to have to decide which type you’re going to be, but also be able to recognize which level of motivation your prospect is living, so you know if you should invest your time.

Remember, amateurs try to convince and sell — but professionals simply “sift and sort“, with no emotional attachment.

(You can also laser target exactly who you’re looking for,  using online marketing to sift and sort for you.)

Now, here are your 4 levels of motivation, which you must recognize, in yourself and others, to build your business more efficiently:

  1. It's not that I'm lazyUnmotivated:

    It's not that I'm lazyThis type of person is a total and complete waste of your time, and you should NEVER invest your time into trying to change them.

    How do you recognize them? They’re usually wasting all of their time on pointless activities, but complain that they have no money!

    There’s the saying: “Success leaves clues!” 

    If you still insist on putting any energy there, invest that energy into asking “who they know” (who is motivated/successful!)

    You’ll need to work “around” them. I automatically ask, “who’s the most successful go-getter type person you know?”

    Trying to drag dead bodies types across the goal line will not only discourage you, but kill your business as these people drag you and your energy downward with them.

    Stay far away from energy suckers! LOL

  2. It's not that I'm lazyMotivate-able:

    This type is tricky, especially with Home Business.

    You might be “hopeful” that you can “control” or change their habits, and they may fool you into thinking it is worth your time to “convince” them that “you can do it!”

    You’ll say to yourself, “but they have potential“! CAUTION: Don’t get sucked in!

    I mean, I’m not saying it’s totally impossible, but it takes years of personal development that you probably don’t have time for right now, especially if you’re trying to build yourself a business.

    Your time could definitely be invested more wisely.

    If you want to help them with personal development, have them read a self-development book.

    WARNING:

    They usually won’t, LOL! 

    The only way you can really help someone is by inspiring them… by making it!

    On the other hand, if your business is going ultra slow, because your energy is getting sucked away trying to “motivate” people, then you will inspire nobody! How much work

    You’ll most likely find out later, (after months or years of pushing, pulling, and dragging them), that they were totally dependent on you…

    And as soon as you’re not there for them to tap into your energy, they’ll use it as an excuse and make up stories why they’re not where they want to be.

    Then they’ll finally fizzle and quit after all your hard work!

    Now, if you have already made that effort and have them in your organization, then one way to protect against “attrition” is to be working with with their best team leaders in their downline so you have no emotional attachment to them if they quit.

    By “driving their lines” and working with “those who inspire”, you can ensure that if they quit, they only hurt themselves, not you or your business!

  3. Self-motivated:

    This type is so much more fun and easy to work with!

    No need to sell or convince them into action because they are already go-getters! Yay!

    They do not sit there and suck out all of your energy, but just make sure they are clear on their big goals and dreams, and get skilled with helping them get their daily activities, habits and actions aligned with their most important Core Values.

    If they are not ultra clear on their Core Values, (what moves them), and they don’t see the alignment – (how this business can get them to their Core Values faster) – then they may go slower than you’d like.

    They’ll still do it of course, but they’ll do it with less urgency. And without quick results, they may fizzle out and go find something else to be excited about.

    When they’re clear on the daily habits and money making activities, they won’t get sidetracked by other things in life.
  4. Those Who INSPIRE : (aka, “Motivators”, aka The MOST AWESOME to work with!)

    These are going to be your absolute favorite explosive go-getting leader types.

    The hustlers with positive attitudes, and with no whining and no stories and excuses!

    From my experience, it is 5% of people or less, but they are out there, and easily recognizable!

    There are successful. They WIN.

    Again, that saying: “SUCCESS LEAVES CLUES”. Usually they are already successful! 

    “Motivators”, (or those who inspire), are the types who basically tell you, “show me what to do and get out of my way!” The challenge is that they move so fast that it is hard to teach and train them!

    They basically learn as they go, like a bull in a china shop, (just fumbling through it all), so make sure and be there for “damage control”.

    They have no problem with “failing forward”, so just make sure you work to support as best you can, while they speed through the process!

    They are SO worth your time, (and even a bit of frustration, lol), and I personally choose to be a hard-hitting motivator, to make sure and keep biggest mentors attention, by producing results!

Laser targetHow To Identify And ATTRACT Those Who INSPIRE

There are many combinations to this lock, and attracting “those who inspire” is one of them.

Sometimes it takes years to know when NOT to invest your valuable time into someone.

After you get tired of wasting time on deadbeats, and you stick in long enough to gain the right skills, you’ll be “picky” about who you invest your time into, because you value your own time a lot more.

This is when you finally raise your standards and your business starts to explode!

Again, “sifting and sorting” is a great way find that that top 20% who have full desire and potential.

If I do ask someone in my warm market, I ask “around” them, (for referrals), to find those who have what it takes.

Laser Targeting For Next Level Attraction

And now, when you’re ready to take your business to that next level, the best strategy I have found is to use Facebook and social media marketing, to laser target the exact type of entrepreneur you want to attract and work with!
